Rear axle conversion set up for early Ford brakes – Kit only

Is it time to make your classic Ford more drivable and reliable? This kit has all the components you’ll need to convert your Ford hot rod’s banjo rear end over to a modern slide-in axle.

This kit maintains the stock axle width and requires the use of 1939-1948 Ford or 1939-1941 Lincoln hydraulic backing plates and a 1940 Ford-style drum.

When purchasing this conversion kit, please specify your classic Ford’s wheel bolt pattern and the year of rear axle you plan to use this kit with.

– Machining and assembly instructions

Please note:

– This kit will work for any standard wheel bolt pattern EXCEPT for the 1936-1939 Ford wide 5 bolt pattern.
– Machining is required on the axle housings, ring gear, and differential case. Instructions are included.
– This kit requires the use of (4) 1939-1948 Ford 11-tooth differential spider gears  (p/n 81A-4215).

Every component of this kit is 100% made in the USA and has been carefully crafted for a precise fit.
